2-Day Road Trip: Karakol – Bishkek

Day 1. Karakol – South Shore of Issyk-Kul – Chon-Kemin After leaving Karakol, we will travel along the southern shore of the lake and visit some of the most beautiful and interesting places in the region: Jeti-Oguz Rocks – famous red sandstone formations surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. Barskoon Waterfalls – beautiful waterfalls located in the scenic Barskoon Gorge. Skazka Canyon (Fairy Tale Canyon) – a unique landscape of colorful red rock formations shaped by nature over thousands of years. Along the way, we will also arrange a traditional eagle-hunting show in Bokonbaevo village, where you can experience one of the unique cultural traditions of the Kyrgyz people and see a trained golden eagle in action. After an exciting day, we will continue our journey towards Chon-Kemin, where we will spend the night and relax in the peaceful mountain surroundings. Day 2. Chon-Kemin – Burana Tower – Bishkek After breakfast, you will have some free time in the morning. You can enjoy an easy hike or a short walk around Chon-Kemin village and take in the beautiful mountain scenery and fresh air. After lunch, we will continue our journey towards Bishkek. On the way, we will visit the Burana Tower, one of the most important historical monuments in Kyrgyzstan, dating back to approximately the 9th–11th centuries. You can explore the ancient tower and see other archaeological monuments in the surrounding area. After the visit, we will continue driving to Bishkek. By the evening, you will arrive in Bishkek and be transferred to your hotel.
