Itinerary

Day 1. Horseback Ride to Kilemche Your adventure begins with a short riding briefing and an introduction to your horse. Once everyone is ready, you will set off along the scenic Chaar-Archa River, following peaceful valleys and rolling mountain landscapes on the way to the alpine pasture of Kilemche. The easy trail provides an excellent opportunity to become comfortable in the saddle and build confidence with your horse. Around midday, you will stop beside the river for a picnic lunch while the horses enjoy a well-earned rest. In the afternoon, the ride continues to a traditional yurt camp hosted by a welcoming Kyrgyz nomadic family. After settling into your yurt, you can explore the surrounding hills, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and experience the authentic lifestyle of local herders. The day ends with a delicious homemade dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional yurt. Day 2. Horseback Ride to Song-Kol Lake Following breakfast, you will begin the ascent to Jalgyz-Karagai Pass (3,300 m), one of the highlights of the journey. Although the climb can be challenging, spectacular mountain panoramas accompany you all the way to the summit. From the top of the pass, you will enjoy your first unforgettable view of the vast alpine waters of Song-Kol Lake stretching across the high plateau. After a short rest, you will descend to the lakeshore for lunch at a yurt camp. Your destination is the peaceful pasture of Tuz-Ashuu, beautifully located beside the lake. After releasing the horses, you will settle into your yurt and enjoy dinner surrounded by the tranquility of Song-Kol. Day 3. Horseback Riding Along the Western Shore of Song-Kol Today offers a relaxed ride along the beautiful shores of Song-Kol Lake. By now you will feel much more comfortable on horseback, allowing your guide to lead you at a trot or even a gentle gallop across the wide, open grasslands without any steep mountain climbs. Around lunchtime, you will reach the Ozbek-Ashuu pasture on the western side of the lake, where you will enjoy a traditional meal in the yurt of a local nomadic family. This will also be your accommodation for the night. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. A traditional dinner will be served before your final overnight stay at Song-Kol. Day 4.
